Wenyi Pan is an artist and researcher based in Edinburgh, Scotland. She is a practice-based PhD candidate at Edinburgh College of Art, University of Edinburgh. Working across mixed-media installation, sculpture, text and moving image, her practice explores structural misogyny, institutional power and the social fictions that shape female and migrant experience. Through materials experimentation and spatial construction, she approaches fictioning as a feminist method for reconfiguring dominant narratives and intervening in established systems of meaning, knowledge and control.
