Parting Practice is the most recent piece in 2024, wherein the artist reflects upon the 15 instances of saying farewell to people - family, friends, partner, or colleagues - within the past three years (the duration of her stay in the UK). The artist forces herself to look at the photos of the times, recollecting, enduring, while holding tissues in hand as tears are wiped away through rubbing or shredding. The tissues were then placed into vacuum bags. Through this approach, the artist endeavors to confront an uncertain reality of life, with or without seeking reconciliation.
