We Call for More Coupons to Peace the World (2024) stands as the most significant piece in this exhibition, which reframes the artist’s millennial memories and lost emotional sustenance when growing up in southeast China. Following her master’s degree show at Florence Street in 2023, she once again delved into a fictional storytelling within the gallery space, attempting to ask: How does an individual define the golden age? Through an array of colorful, alienated, and de-contextualized objects and images, a bridge is being constructed between childhood joy and present sorrow.
